UJ Sunday Gathering – New Location!!!

Beginning September 5, 2010, we will be meeting at the Chapel of the Epiphany located on the UBC campus. The address is 6030 Chancellor Blvd (Chancellor becomes 4th Ave once you are of campus). The Chapel is visable from Chancellor Blvd, just east of the Chan Centre.
Our Sunday Gathering begins @ 5PM with a dinner in the downstairs fellowship hall, followed by a time of worship in the upstairs chapel @ 6PM. Free parking is available near the Chapel and VST; paid parking can be found @ the North Parkade on Student Union Blvd off Wesbrook Mall. There is a children’s program for kids ages 3-12. Free parking during our Sunday Gathering is available in front of the Chapel of the Epiphany (7 stalls) and in front of the Vancouver School of Theology’s main building (19 stalls). If these lots are full additional paid parking can be found in the North Parkade (parking garage) located on Student Union Blvd off Wesbrook Mall. Please be aware that the Chapel is surrounded by private housing and all parking restrictions must be respected. There will be signs off Chancellor Blvd directing you to the places to park.
Welcome BBQ for UBC Students

On Friday, September 17th @ 6PM, MB Student Life @ UBC and Urban Journey will host a welcome BBQ for new and returning UBC students. We will meet at the home of Andrew & Rebecca Stanley: 2780 Acadia Road, unit 218 on the UBC campus (near U HIll Secondary School). Where’s Jesus? Finding God In Our World

Once a month we will be hosting a series in conjunction with the MB Student Life @ UBC entitled: “Where’s Jesus? Finding God In Our World.” During the month of September we will look at “Faith & Healthcare”, and have a panel of healthcare workers discussing how their faith and profession work together. This seminar takes place on Sunday, September 19th @ 5PM (our normal Sunday Gathering time) at the Chapel of the Epiphany.
