About UJ
Urban Journey is a faith community that serves the Dunbar, Point Grey , and UBC neighbourhoods of Vancouver, BC. We have families and individuals from a wide variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. Our desire is to live out the words of Micah 6:8 “People, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (NLT)
We want to explore with honesty what faith in God looks like – faith which transforms every facet of the way we think, play and live. We’re people building into each other, actively participating in the neighbourhood we live in, loving and serving in every possible way. Our hope is that everyone who comes in contact with our church will be known, cared for, and loved.
We believe that the foundation of our community is grounded and rooted in the love and person of Jesus Christ. Through his life teaching, his work on the cross, and through his resurrection everyone can experience the original design and purpose for life itself.
